I have had the opportunity to work in many fields in my life and excelled in all of them. I started as a mechanic in the Army then went to the Infantry in Vietnam. After returning to America, I worked as a truck mechanic for a few more years off and on until I found a position as a Dialysis Technician until I became a Chief specialist in a major Boston hospital. In 1981, I became a Police Office in a small town in Northeast Georgia and continued to work with law enforcement for seven years. I also preached the Word of God in the Toccoa, Georgia community and wished that I could have found a church that would have taken me on to teach every week. In 1993, I became a computer programmer for many years and loved that job much. In 2007, I moved to China and started teaching both spoken English and American History to high school students; this by far was the best job I ever had.
I went to Bible College and studied Bible/Theology and loved every moment of my time at this excellent school. I also went on for advanced degrees studying the same thing Bible/Theology. Education is wonderful but it must be tempered with wisdom, or it means nothing.
“A degree only shows one’s academic achievement, not one’s spiritual growth.”
